First Step Food Intolerance indicator test:

The YorkTest Laboratories FoodScan is the only finger prick blood food intolerance test endorsed by Allergy UK. Your First Step FoodScan test kit comes with all the instructions you need on how to take the test in less than five minutes at home. You simply post back your blood sample to the laboratory where they carry out the analysis. Within approximately 10 working days you will know if food is the possible source of the problem with a simple Yes/ No result.

If your First Step FoodScan result is positive you will have the opportunity to upgrade to a more specific food analysis or you may choose to follow an exclusion diet with the aid of your G.P or Health Practitioner.

I can confirm that:

The person taking the test is over 2 years old

The person taking the test is not taking any steroids or immunosuppressant’s

The person taking the test is not pregnant, breast feeding or suffering from any blood-borne diseases (Hepatitis, HIV, etc)

I understand that if the person taking the test is excluding any foods from their diet that these may not show up in the results
