Research carried out by Allergy U.K (Blossom Report)and published in Focus magazine has highlighted how disatisfied parents are with the way in which their children's allergy's are understood. The questions Allergy U.K asked included : Do you feel your child has ever been socially excluded from activities? Results: YES = 47% NO = 37% Child too young = 16%

It would seem from the quotes given in Focus magazine, that the same issues I myself faced back in the 1970's are still with us in 2008. School trips requiring parental escort, birthday party invites that never arrive or parents of other children dropping comments such as: were having a party but we will not be inviting Samantha, I am sorry, you undrestand don't you, its going to be a problem feeding her.
